Acogedor is a Spanish translation to "Cozy." This coffee blend comprises of two fantastic lots of coffee, coming from Guatemala and Costa Rica. The Guatemalan lot of coffee is a washed process, providing the blend with nutty, chocolatey, crisp and clean flavors, while the Costa Rican lot of coffee gives the blend it's fruity and heavy bodied flavors. This blend is predominantly Guatemalan coffee, making a solid base for the intense fruit forward flavors of the Costa Rica to shine brightly without being too overwhelming.
This blend has been roasted to a medium level, for optimal use for every brewer and their preferences.
In a cup, we taste flavor calls of strawberry, maple syrup, and hazelnut. As an espresso, we recommend using a 1:1.75 ratio, for optimal intensity and overall experience of the cup. As a stand alone espresso, the drinker will experience intense acidity of strawberry, heaviness of blueberry jam, and overall sweetness of raw honey. As a pour over, we recommend using a 1:16-1:18 ratio while brewing. As a pour over, the drinker will experience flavors of sweet maple syrup, dark chocolate, and hazelnut.
